At Lavish 808 Bulliez Rescued Paws, we believe every animal deserves a loving forever home. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match for both you and our rescued companions. Follow these steps to bring a new member into your ʻOhana.
Step 1: Complete your application
Begin your adoption journey by filling out our comprehensive online application. This helps us understand your living situation, lifestyle, and what you're looking for in a companion. Step 2: The interview and reference check
Once we receive your application, a member of our team will review it and contact you for a virtual interview. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know you better and answer any questions you might have. We will also conduct reference checks, including veterinary references if you have had pets before, to ensure a responsible and loving environment for our animals.
Step 3: Home visit and meet and greet
To ensure our rescued pets are going to a safe and suitable environment, we conduct a home visit. This is not an inspection, but a friendly chat to see where your potential new family member will live and to offer any advice. Following a successful home visit, we will arrange a meet and greet between you and the animal you are interested in adopting. This allows you both to get acquainted and ensures compatibility.
Step 4: Finalizing the adoption
After a successful meet and greet, and once all checks are complete, you're ready to finalize the adoption! You will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which helps us cover the costs of veterinary care, food, and housing for our other rescues. We’ll provide you with all necessary medical records and a starter kit to help your new ʻOhana member settle in. Congratulations on welcoming a new companion!
